Over One Million Times
Remember these guys? This album, released in 1999, was the last one they did before taking a seven-year hiatus. They came back last year with One More Piece, which I haven't listened to enough to offer any sort of opinion yet. But Over One Million Times? Pretty cheesy electro, especially considering it was made fairly recently. It has an '80s feel, and I don't think it's meant to be ironic or retro.The truth is, it's a little embarrassing to listen to nowadays. It hasn't aged well. It's a guilty pleasure now, very much like the stuff Eco put out around the same time. Or maybe Manipulation, whose two CDs I had to sell last year because they were almost unbearable to hear anymore. I wonder how many other bands I'll begin to feel that way about.
